troy new york

after a 3.5 yr hiatus i have returned to troy new york. there are pics of the renovation of the first floor of our new house HERE. It's a longass process, especially without money or time! slowly making time. slowly saivng money. one step at a time. i love the neighborhood. and hae lots of wonderful freinds and collaborators here. biking the backroads is sweet too! check out some of my bikely routes .

i am working my butt off on all sorts of projects with the The Sanctuary for Independent Media , RPI (adjunct teaching), Magai Arboriculture (climbing trees!), and making time in there somewhere for private tutoring, professional development at the Ark Charter school and consulting with MNN Youth Channel.... and a one-off workshop at CMP in PK in november. Also trying to get going on some new animation and music recording projects. that is slow too.

but despite all that, i have noticed a spike in my quality of life since being here. NYC was really not for me. nice place to visit. shitty place to live. we are all dying. never forget that.... but somehow in nyc the feeling that it is being accelerated is quite apparent. headed back there this weekend to see vickie and other people and attend the MNN street arnival. yay!
