as you can imagine, after all that work, the floors were pretty trashed. we read all about sanding on the website, rented a sander and this is what happened.
the boards were pretty 'cupped' so we had to do a lot of diagonal sanding, both to level it all out, but more importantly (as far as we were concerned) was removing all the paint.
